| March 22, 2008: Minus 5, Sunny A most disappointing ski. The grooming in the Lac Philippe sector was appalling. That familiar Ridge was continuous on trail 50, large and icy. The narrow lane of the skate trail was less bumpy, leafy, rutted and rough than the ridge. Near Herridge, mostly yesterday's leftover refrozen skate tracks.. The fun part of the trip was talking to Raymond (next photo) and crawling around in the woods, in deep snow, to take this photo of Lac Mousseau.  |
