April 16, 2007: Zero and precipitating
Fortune Lake seen from a parkway inundated with heavy snow,
the deepest I have seen in a few years - easily 20 centimeters.
Waxless classic was slow going (!!) as the snow came sometimes to shin height. But what a beautiful ski!
At P10 there was some sort of unidentifiable precipitation, but by Fortune Lake it was snowing furiously.
At Gossip corner it was almost too deep for me, and I ran out of time to savour it!
