| January 5, 2007: Plus 9 and atmospheric (cold, vaporized snow)
Compare this photo to one of yesterday's taken at the same spot, to see how much snow has disappeared. The rain has turned the last bits of snow to slick ice which is tricky even for walking. P10 was sheer ice, P5 was bare except for the thin ice on the uphills . The fat lady was singing, so after a short walk, I went home to get some decent exercise.  |
